Model SAS

This model represents a further strengthended version of the heavy-duty SA series. Swivelling bushes and arms are mounted on a heavy supporting pillar which, in turn, is secured to an exceptionally rugged anglesteel. Generously proportioned needle bearings are installed beneath the swivelling bushes. The swivelling arm can be locked in the vertical or horizontal position by conical latches, which are released by way of a foot pedal, thus leaving both hands free to operate handling equipment or a hoist. The level of the storage arm or the height of the operator is
therefore of no significance.

A cable-type security system, fitted as standard, prevents more than one disc from being swivelled out at a time, eliminating the risk of the unit tipping over.
